STCW TRAINING COURSES 


Advance Fire Fighting (AFF)

Teaches leadership during onboard fire emergencies. Includes fire control, rescue operations, and team coordination. For officers and experienced crew.

Basic Training  (BT)

Covers essential safety skills every seafarer must know: survival at sea, fire prevention, basic first aid, and personal safety. Required for first-time seafarers.


Medical First Aid (MEFA)

Equips seafarers with basic first aid skills to respond to onboard injuries and medical emergencies. Ideal for crew with health-related responsibilities.


Refresher in Advance Fire Fighting (RAFF)

Keeps firefighting leadership and safety skills up to date. Must be taken every 5 years by AFF holders.


Refresher in Basic Training (RBT)

Re-certifies basic seafarer safety skills in fire fighting, survival, and first aid. Must be renewed every 5 years.

Ship Security Officer (SSO)

Trains officers responsible for developing and enforcing ship security plans. Required for designated Ship Security Officers under the ISPS Code.

Refresher in Survival Craft and Rescue Boat (RSCRB)

This refresher course is designed for seafarers who have previously completed the full Survival Craft and Rescue Boat (SCRB) training. It provides a practical and theoretical review of launching, handling, and operating survival craft and rescue boats other than fast rescue boats, in compliance with STCW standards.

Crowd and Crisis Management (CCM) (Online) 

Prepares crew to handle passenger emergencies and control large crowds calmly and safely. Mandatory for those on passenger ships.



IN - HOUSE TRAINING COURSES  


Anti-Piracy Awareness Training (APA) (Online)

Raises awareness about piracy threats and how to respond safely. Covers anti-piracy procedures, crew conduct, and communication during hijacking scenarios.


Bridge Resource Management (BRM) (Online)

Teaches navigational teamwork and communication on the bridge. Helps officers make safe and effective decisions using all available resources.  

Bridge Team Management (BTM) (Online)

Teaches leadership during onboard fire emergencies. Includes fire control, rescue operations, and team coordination. For officers and experienced crew.  


Cargo Handling and Care Cargo (CHCC) (Online)

Teaches leadership during onboard fire emergencies. Includes fire control, rescue operations, and team coordination. For officers and experienced crew.

Dangerous , Hazardous, and Harmful Substances (HAZMAT w/ CFR) (Online)

Introduces safe handling procedures for corrosive, flammable, and reactive materials. Prepares crew for emergency response and compliance with safety regulations.

Focuses on bulk materials that may pose chemical or physical hazards. Includes hazard identification, segregation, and risk mitigation measures onboard. 


Engine Room Resource Management (ERRM) (Online)

Trains engine department teams on communication, decision-making, and workload management to ensure safe engine room operations.  


ISM Code Familiarization (ISM) (Online)

Provides an overview of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code. Prepares crew to follow company safety procedures and understand audit requirements.

Maritime English (MAR’E) (Online)

Improves the ability to communicate in English aboard international vessels. Focuses on bridge commands, emergency phrases, and onboard dialogue.

Marine High Voltage (MHV) (Online)

Prepares marine engineers and electricians to work safely with high-voltage systems onboard. Includes risk control and equipment handling.

 


Prevention Of Alcohol And Drugs Abuse In The Maritime Sector (PADAMS) (Online)

Educates seafarers on the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of a drug-free working environment. Supports compliance with maritime safety policies  


Radar Navigation, Radar Plotting And Use Of ARPA (RNRPUA) (Online)

Provides hands-on training in radar operation and collision avoidance using ARPA. Enhances navigational accuracy and safety in restricted visibility. 



TVET PROGRAM SYSTEM (TESDA)


Ship’s Catering Course w/o Assessment (NC1)

Teaches basic food preparation, meal planning, sanitation, and kitchen safety for maritime settings. Ideal for aspiring messmen and stewards who want to gain shipboard culinary skills without undergoing the TESDA national assessment.

NC1 Ship’s Catering Course 

(No Assessment)

Teaches cooking, meal planning, and sanitation practices for onboard food service. Perfect for aspiring messmen/stewards.



  PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES


IMO Model Course 6.09 – Instructor’s Course

  Designed for maritime professionals who wish to become certified instructors. Covers teaching strategies, lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment techniques in line with international maritime training standards.


IMO Model Course 3.12 – Assessor’s Course

Equips future assessors with the skills to evaluate maritime trainees effectively. Focuses on assessment planning, evidence collection, validation, and reporting to ensure training outcomes meet IMO requirements.
