Course Description
Mandatory refresher course for seafarers to update their Basic Training certification. Covers personal safety, social responsibilities, and emergency procedures.

1. STEP 1-A: ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR REFRESHER:
- Valid Medical Certificate (PEME)
- Valid ID
- 2x2 picture
- Signature
- Sea service (at least 12 months)
- COP (For refresher only)

2. STEP 2: PAY YOUR FEES -
We only accept full payment for 1 day courses - SATSDSD and UBTPSSR. Downpaynent is not allowed.

3. STEP 3: PROOF OF PAYMENT -
Send payment proof within 12 hours. Send proof to: 📧 Email: payment.abtec@gmail.com.
No payment proof within 12 hours = Automatic cancellation - ABTEC reserves the right to cancel enrollments that do not comply with registration requirements.
ENROLLMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS:
• Schedule Changes: ABTEC reserves the right to modify, cancel, or postpone training schedules when necessary.
• One-Day Training: Full payment is required for all one-day training courses.
• Down Payment / Official Enrollment: A minimum of 50% down payment must be paid at least three (3) working days before the training schedule to confirm and process the enrollment.
• Training Postponed or Cancelled by ABTEC: If ABTEC postpones or cancels the training and the trainee chooses to withdraw, a full refund will be provided.
• Withdrawal or Cancellation Before Training: If the trainee withdraws or cancels before the scheduled training, a 30% surcharge of the gross training fee will be deducted from the amount paid. However, if the trainee is already recorded in the ER, the training fee will be forfeited.
• No-Show / Withdrawal During Training: No refund will be provided if the trainee is a no-show, withdraws, or cancels during the scheduled training.
• Name on Certificate: The name provided on the enrollment form will be used on the trainee's certificate. The trainee is responsible for ensuring that all information provided is correct.
• Certificate Correction / Re-Issuance: Any error made by the trainee on the enrollment form and discovered after the certificate has been issued will be subject to a ₱250.00 re-issuance fee.
• Rescheduling After Submission to MARINA: Once the Enrollment Report (ER) has been submitted to MARINA, the trainee may not reschedule the training from the original schedule. Rescheduling may only be considered for a valid reason with supporting documents, subject to ABTEC approval. If the payment is forfeited, the trainee must pay the applicable training fee again (e.g., emergency-related proof, medical certificate).
MAKE-UP CLASS POLICY
• 5-Day Training: Absence of two (2) or more days will result in forfeiture of the enrollment.
• Partial Payment: The remaining balance must be settled before re-enrollment or make-up arrangements.
• Re-Enrollment: Re-enrollment is required after forfeiture and is subject to applicable fees and available schedules.
• BT Full Course: Make-up classes are charged at ₱500.00 per missed day.
• One-Day Training: No make-up class is allowed for one-day training.
• Make-Up Class Approval: All make-up classes are subject to ABTEC approval, available slots, and training schedules.
